Spring Break at Big Sky or Yellowstone

Spring break is just around the corner, and it’s time to start planning the perfect family escape. Forget the overpriced, too busy destinations, and head to Bozeman, MT, for an adventure-filled week. Here at Journey Rent-A-Car, we love helping our clients make the most of their vacation. While the opportunities for a family adventure in the area are endless, we wanted to share our two favorite things to do for spring that aren’t too far from Bozeman. Grab your GPS, load up a road trip playlist, jump in your SUV or minivan rental, and start making memories.

Yellowstone National Park

Yellowstone is just 3.5 hours south of Bozeman, in Wyoming, making it perfect for a day trip or as part of a longer road trip. Frankly, you could spend your entire spring break exploring the area. Take in the views or the canyons, mountains, valleys, and cascading waterfalls, spot wildlife, and check out the iconic Old Faithful Geyser.

Big Sky

The classic way to spend spring break is on the slopes! Big Sky is less than an hour away from Bozeman, and the area offers more than just skiing and snowboarding. You can also go snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, zip lining, check out the local shops, or escape to the spa.

Book Early

Things get pretty busy around rental car agencies during spring break, especially if you need a family-sized vehicle. We recommend that you book your minivan rental early to avoid disappointment. Who wants to cram into an economy-sized car with the family in tow?

Whether you’re a teacher getting out to recharge with some solo R&R or you’re a parent with kids, we have just the right rental car, SUV, or van for you here at Journey Rent-A-Car in Bozeman. Give our friendly staff a call at (406) 551-2277, or make a reservation online.
