Montana is a large state full of varied landscapes. In the western part of the state, mountain ranges that are part of the Rocky Mountains reign supreme. Nestled between these mountains are lush scenic valleys. Peaceful, rolling plains occupy the eastern part of Montana, as well as badlands with unique rock formations.
